Hotel La Caporala

I recently stayed at hotel LA Caporala located just outside Verona, Italy. Overall, my stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location, outside of city center of Verona. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. The rooms in the hotel were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast provided by the hotel was OK. There was a decent selection of pastries, cereals, fruits, and hot beverages. I wish there was more option of breads. I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a cozy and affordable stay just outside Verona.

The hotel has great rooms, very new and clean. There weren't many amenities, but the staff was generally friendly and helpful, though communication was sometimes a bit difficult. The location is a bit far out from Verona and the nearby bus doesn't run in the evenings, but the hotel has a very good uber/ shuttle service for a reasonable fee. It's family run, which is nice :-), wishing them lots of success

My son and I were driving from Positano back home to Munich and needed a place to spend the night close to the main road but in a quiet area. We found Hotel La Caporala online and booked. What a great decision. First, I am a stickler for three things: quiet comfort, safety, and extreme cleanliness. This hotel met all three easily. I needed a glass or two of a nice wine after driving all day. Check. My son needed a great pizza delivered because we didn't want to go out again in the car. Check. The young lady at the desk was absolutely positive and helpful, as though a friend was visiting. The owners were in and out and very friendly. The property, to my understanding, was previously a family farm and horse farm and now part of it is a very nice and quiet small hotel. I sat outside and chatted a bit with other guests last evening while my son took to his own room to watch TV and relax. The breakfast was varied and delicious, again, the owners were present and greeted us. I travel to Italy a lot and will stay at Hotel La Caporala from here forward and recommend to my friends to do the same. If you are traveling through, or coming to visit beautiful Verona, this is a perfect locale from which to base yourself.
